Luxol 6000

A single component, alkyd coating pigmented with aluminium pigment to provide an attractive metal finish.

Berger Luxol 6000 is a high gloss finish coat for use in conventional alkyd coating systems. It is suitable for both new construction and as a maintenance coating and for use on steel, wood, aged coatings etc. It has a good weathering and heat reflective properties and overall durability with good opacity and hiding power. It provides an ease of application and easy maintenance coating suitable for both interior and exterior exposure.

Surface preparation

Ensure that the surface to be over-coated is clean, dry, free from dust, grease and oil, or any other surface contaminants. Any loose or flaking coating should be scraped and taken back to a firm edge. Apply suitable primer and build coat depending on the substrate type.

Application procedure

Stir contents of the can thoroughly before use. Thinning is not usually required, however, if desired, do not exceed thinning ratio mentioned in the product data sheet.
